About the Role
Conduct legal research on various legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to support the firm's advisory and litigation activities.
Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, legal opinions, and memoranda, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare and draft newsletters, legal updates, and articles on recent developments in corporate law, taxation, and regulatory compliance for dissemination to clients and stakeholders.
Support senior attorneys in case preparation, including drafting pleadings, petitions, affidavits, and other court documents.
Assist in due diligence exercises, document review, and analysis for corporate transactions and litigation
matters.
Attend client meetings, court proceedings, and other legal proceedings as required, and prepare concise summaries and reports.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, solve legal issues, and contribute to the overall success of client engagements.
Maintain organized and accurate records of legal documents, research findings, and other work products.
Stay updated with changes in legal regulations, judicial precedents, and industry trends relevant to the firm's practice areas.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervising attorneys or management.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
2. Strong understanding of corporate law, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
3. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new legal concepts.
